I've had both stick/luminova filled dials and Roman numeral dials. I prefer the Roman numeral dials; at least for now. The stick dial was a bit sportier. I just like the dressier look for my Day-Date II; but, of course, I could change. Here in Japan, RSC will change your dial for around 0 and even let you keep the "old" one.
