Today I picked up a vintage Tudor Prince Date Day and it was fitted with a newish steel Rolex Oyster bracelet. Inside the clasp it is marked OP8 and 15/423; in each end-piece is 53 16520.
Also, note that apparantly the "15/423" code has not changed since Mike bought his SS GMT IIc (which is long ago). Could indicate that the code has nothing to do with "date" or "number of production", but is a FIXED code for _something_ (and my guess is that it is some sort of country code).

When looking at your Rolex, have you ever noticed the different codes or sets of numbers and letters throughout the watch, even on the Rolex clasp inside of the buckle? There's a simple answer to what they are and a more complex way to use them. Clasp code is OP8 15/423, end links are solid, code is 97200, glidelock bracelet. Bracelet is in good quality, looks genuine as well. I suspect that it might be possible that this is a franken watch, all the genuine parts were put together.
