From my perspective, I never thought I’d like Panerai, but once in hand, it’s striking how beautiful and well made they are - the 233 is a great choice. The biggest standout for me is that they look like no other watch, completely unique on . Panerai sparked my interest in mechanical watches and I finally bought a 372 last year after many years of only Omegas. How do you find it compares to Rolex quality wise? I also own the Panerai 992 which is very similar to the two watches you show from Panerai. I picked it up in the secondary market for less than half the retail of new and enjoy it but it is not a Rolex much less a SD43.The Rolex is worth almost k more than that model of Panerai, and if you want to sell it in the future Panerai’s don’t move very quickly, Rolex’s do. I generally wouldn’t recommend trades unless you’re either 1. Rolex, Panerai, and IWC. Is it correct that the Rolex are a little bit more expensive then the other two? What are the strengths for the three luxury watch brands respectively? Thanks.
