This unusual Panerai was discovered by Dino Zei, who is the ex-chairman of Panerai SPA, and the watch once belonged to Admiral Birindelli of the Royal Italian Navy. Essentially Panerai watches were obsoleted by the Rolex . Then, Eng. Dino Zei, together with the Officine Panerai Technical Department responsible, had the idea for this definitive version (here described) adding the two stylised arrows.
